Chef Mark has had a serious interests in primates from a very early age.
During His lifelong passion he has accumulated over 500 primate related
collectables as well as photography and interactions with worldly primatologists.
Mark has traveled to several counties observing & admiring these fantastic animal
ancestors.
His continued love of these creatures has led him towards a unique
understanding of our intelligent, and closets animal friends. With aspiration's to
someday becoming a Primatologist himself, he continues his studies online as well
as attending discussions at zoos and sanctuaries. His major concentration is on
the great Apes and their conservation in the wild and captivity. Chef Mark has
tentative plans to travel to Africa to visit mountain Gorillas in their natural
environment and further helpful Eco-tourism.
An undying admiration has led Mark to be declared “The Silverback Chef”.
Currently he fosters Orangutans and Chimpanzees in a private Florida sanctuary,
The Center for Great Apes. Where he continues to raise funds and donation for
a cause that he loves.
